Program Details

The Master of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Project Management is an online information technology degree for those interested in advancing their careers in the field and successfully leading large projects.  With this online project management degree students gain advanced IT skills while also completing courses that focus on project management.  You will gain the tools needed for leadership positions in a technology-based environment while completing courses in such topics as:

  • Project Risk Management
  • Project Procurement Management
  • Advanced Project Methods

While completing a curriculum that includes theories, real-world applications, and practical skills, students will prepare for certification exams in PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).  This concentration prepares students to initiate, plan, track, and close projects and to analyze, design, and implement information systems.  Graduates will be able to manage complex projects and the risks that may occur while completing them on time and within budget.
