Program Details

With a master’s degree in Gerontology, you will gain the skills you need to help meet the needs of older adults. Students in this program will learn about key issues in gerontology and gain familiarity with foundational research methods.

The concepts taught in classes can be applied to policies and programs focused on older adults and their families. Graduates will be able to provide effective services, care, and support to elderly patients. Students can choose to pursue a general degree or add one of the following concentrations:

  • Aging and Applied Thanatology
  • Health and Social Innovation
  • Principles in the Management of Aging Services
