The online Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security program is designed for criminal justice students who want to focus on homeland security issues and prepare for careers in the homeland security area of the criminal justice field.  The curriculum includes general education courses, psychology and sociology courses, and core courses in criminal justice, as well as the additional homeland security courses required for those majoring in homeland security within the criminal justice degree program.  This option focuses on the main topics essential to homeland security professionals, including terrorism and counterterrorism, emergency preparedness, international relations, critical incident response, and more.
