Program Details

The University of Management & Technology offers an online Associate of Science in General Studies, a liberal arts degree.  This program is designed for students who have completed high school or have passed the GED and have completed some courses at an accredited college or through the United States armed forces, allowing these students to transfer up to 75% of the credit-hours towards the General Studies requirements.  With a degree in the liberal arts, you will complete courses in a wide variety of general education courses, including English, mathematics, social sciences, and the humanities, and courses in Information Technology.  As a result, you will have a wide breadth of knowledge in history, the humanities, civilization, mathematics, physics, literature, government, sociology, and information technology. 

Graduates are able to:

• Demonstrate skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, writing, and communications that are critical to positions in various environments and organizations
• Demonstrate knowledge in computer science and information technology
• Utilize knowledge gained in this liberal arts degree daily, both at work and in future academic pursuits
