UMaine offers the online Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. This program is designed to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of health and human service professionals who provide care to older adults in a variety of settings. Among many things, students will learn how to promote the health, functionality, and quality of life of older adults through education of individuals and families and through appropriate referrals to service providers.
