University of Louisville offers a Master of Education in Special Education online program. The program provides a foundation with theory, methods, and practical skills. The curriculum allows for one of two concentrations:

  • Assistive Technology


  • Bachelor's degree earned from a regionally accredited institution
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work
  • 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement of 250-500 words
  • GRE scores
