Program Details

The online Master of Science in Applied Statistics & Analytics program helps students effectively communicate principles of statistics and analytics and assist with design and implementation of data management systems.  You will learn to interpret data to determine needs, trends, and probabilities across several industries and will be able to interpret performance data, analyze demographic data, contribute to health care research, and report results from scientific studies.  Students can choose from three areas of emphasis:

  • Statistics
  • Analytics
  • Data Science


  • Official transcript(s) with evidence of an undergraduate degree 
  • Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better
  • B average or higher in Calculus I and II courses (i.e. single variable differentiation and integration or equivalent)
  • Completion of any computer programming language course or demonstration of mastery via credentials or work experience
  • GRE preferred but not required
