Program Details

The University of Florida’s Graduate Certificate in Solar Energy is designed with working students and engineering professionals in mind who wouldn’t normally have the freedom to pursue a traditional certificate on-campus due to family, location, or work commitments. Upon successful completion of the thorough curriculum, students may be equipped with the solid skill set and knowledge base to succeed in this field.


  • A bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering, science, technology, or a closely related discipline with a 3.0 undergraduate GPA, or a minimum of five years of professional employment experience in an engineering discipline
  • Submit official transcripts from your prior BS degree institution
