Master of Taxation
University of Denver

Program Details

The Master of Taxation, an online finance degree, is designed for working professionals with an accounting or financial background.  The curriculum is all about tax, with courses taught using the Internal Revenue Code, treasury regulations, and other related material.  The rigorous courses combine law and accounting aspects of taxation, so accounting students will work alongside law students in an environment that encourages cooperation.

Online students benefit from the flexibility that allows them to prepare for their future without sacrificing their current careers or personal lives.  However, these students and traditional students share the same courses, materials, and assignments, along with the same level of attention from faculty.  The program offers:

  • Recordings of live classroom presentations that remain available
  • Online discussions
  • Faculty and student interaction
