Program Details

The Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language will give you the foundation and knowledge necessary to work with ELLs. Students will study material in courses such as Linguistically Diverse/Multicultural Education, Methods, Materials and Theories for ELL's and Language and Linguistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Overall undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or better
  • Three letters of reference

  • Complete a background check or an unofficial copy of your teaching license
  • Interview with a faculty advisor
