Program Details
The University of Arkansas offers an online social work degree, the Master of Social Work with Advanced Standing, for students who want to advance their educations in the field. With this degree bachelor’s-level social workers are able to practice independently and move into supervisory and leadership roles. Graduates are also prepared for PhD programs in social work.
This is a flexible program, allowing students to learn where they live and schedule their coursework around their other responsibilities. You will still have the opportunity to network with your peers and exchange peer support through the cohort system and virtual classrooms. The curriculum is the same as you would experience on-campus but with greater flexibility and the option of completing internships around your current residence.
