You can learn to help English-learning students with the U of A’s Master of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. This online ESL program provides the tools and strategies to implement the ESL curriculum and perform assessments.

Students gain the knowledge and skills to pinpoint problems and develop solutions for those learning English as a second language. This program leads to a licensure endorsement in ESL by the Arkansas Department of Education.

The online ESL coursework teaches an understanding of multicultural students’ social and cognitive learning styles. You will learn to evaluate writing, speaking, listening, and reading performance.
