The online Master of Science in Operations Research program offers three plans that lead to the Operations Research degree and provides flexibility for the students. Students can choose to complete a thesis, or to complete the program with a non-thesis option, and either complete a final paper with an exit exam that is an oral examination or choose the coursework only option with the exit exam that is over coursework. Regardless of which option the students choose, the basic program of study includes two minors, one of which is already prepared for the student. The other minor allows students to choose an area of specialization from one of these areas: Manufacturing Systems, Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Reliability Engineering, Systems Simulation, and Engineering Management.
