Program Details
The online Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Physical Education program prepares individuals to become physical education teachers and athletic coaches for children and adolescents from PreK through grade 12. The flexible degree offers two types of master’s degrees: Traditional for those who have Class B teacher certification and Alternative for those who do not have teacher certification. Students take required courses such as Curriculum Development in Physical Education, Strategies and Issues in K-12 Physical Education, Statistical Methods and Research, and Advanced Field Studies.
