Program Details

The online Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health prepares students to recognize, evaluate, and control environmental and occupational risks that could affect health. Students study exposure to toxic elements, policies, procedures, and prevention methods. Students must complete a 3-hour internship.

Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Fundamentals of air and water pollution
  • Quantitative methods in public health
  • Environmental justice

Graduates will be ready to create risk assessment approaches based on populations, explain health theories regarding public health, and demonstrate an understanding of the policies on environmental and occupational health issues. Experienced and dedicated faculty bring a strong and relevant curriculum to the classroom. The online master’s degree program will propel graduates into successful careers in environmental and occupational health.
