The online Master of Science in School Librarianship program focuses on preparing individuals to teach in 21st-century school libraries through a program that is authorized to recommend graduates for certification for the library media specialist, K-12 initial certificate. Coursework includes research-based, best practices occurring in the school library field, exposing educators to strategies and techniques for teaching information literacy. The program features clinically-based teaching experiences that allow educators to collect their data to inform their teaching practices and teaches them to participate in a collaborative culture.
