The online Master of Education in Literacy Education Studies is designed for individuals who are teaching or plan on teaching and want to learn more about developmental reading to enrich students’ capabilities, but who are not seeking teacher certification. The curriculum provides educators with the tools necessary to achieve their professional goals, including expanding their knowledge of the theories, methods, and materials of reading, reading instruction, language, language instruction, and reading assessment. Graduates will be able to design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources.
