Program Overview

Toccoa Falls College offers the online Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology, a degree in that prepares you for service within the community, the church and the family through the ministry of counseling. The concepts of psychology and the skills of counseling are combined within the principles of Scripture and then integrated into practical application. Students will receive an academic preparation in foundational psychological and counseling concepts, intellectual preparation through advanced studies of theory and philosophy of persons and relationships, and professional preparation in counseling laboratory and practicum events. The Counseling faculty provides a broad spectrum of expertise that will afford students the ideal training for future ministry in any counseling context.

    School Overview

    In 1907, Richard and Evelyn Forrest established Toccoa Falls College, an independent, nonprofit educational institution, that was devoted to preparing God’s people to fulfill their calling. Originally called Toccoa Falls High School, a four-year Bible college program was added in 1937, which included biblical and theological studies as well as a number of courses in the field of general education. The school was named Toccoa Falls College in 1975. The mission of the college is “to glorify God through seeking and developing Christian servant leaders who will impact their world with the love and message of Jesus Christ.” The college is affiliated the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA).

    Toccoa Falls College offers programs for associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, as well as certificates, from within the following schools:

    • School of Arts and Sciences
    • School of Christian Ministries
    • School of Nursing
    • School of Professional Studies

    Online degree options cover a wide range of interests including business, biblical studies, ministry, general studies, and criminal justice, with specific degrees under each of these subject areas. Online students receive the same quality education and experience as a student would in residence.
