The Psychology degree offered through Thomas University (TU) prepares students for careers in criminal justice, education, human services, health, administration, and business. Students have the ability to complete this degree on campus or fully online. Individuals study psychology to learn about mental processes, behavior, and emotions. Studying psychology allows individuals to better understand both themselves and others. The learning offered by TU will cover topics valuable for employment in law enforcement, youth services, and engineering. Special features of the program consist of being able to conduct research in the psychology field, enhance writing, analytical, interpersonal and research skills.
The Psychology Department at Thomas University provides students with a professional atmosphere at which they can engage their creativity and gain firsthand experience with mental healthcare providers. The mission of the psychology program is to ensure students are given a wide variety of career options for which they can best use their degree.
To improve community spirit and allow psychology majors to get to know each other, there are two student organizations for students to participate in: Psi Chi and Psych Club.
