Program Details
The MSN in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner provides specialized coursework based on the full spectrum of high acuity patient care needs. Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for AGACNP certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Students learn how to integrate knowledge, principles, and theories from nursing and related sciences into advanced nursing care. Coursework specific to the online Adult Nurse Practitioner program focuses on diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making. Nurses also gain advanced skills in pathophysiology, comprehensive assessment, and pharmacotherapeutics.
