Program Details

Become a Doctor of Midwifery through rigorous studies with Thomas Jefferson University online.  This program focuses on evidence-based clinical practice, education, and administrative methods in areas of reproductive, newborn, maternity and wellness health.  Fully online doctor of midwifery studies will cover subjects such as:

  • Organizational change
  • Health policy
  • Professional communication

Students will take on multi-semester projects wherein students address a topical, real-world issue in the field.  Workshops, conferences, and case studies are woven throughout the curriculum, lending to hands-on learning experiences and enhanced professional development.  Students will work on professional production, from review articles to public presentations and grant proposals, entering a midwifery career with the scholarly conduct necessary to a challenging health field.
