Program Details

Enroll in this online special education degree and enhance professional opportunities.  As the number of special education students is increasing, so is the need for teachers and advocates with the knowledge and skills to guide them.  Students of this program learn effective teaching methods that are applicable to the growing field of working with special education students. 

Courses in this TEACH Grant-eligible online special education master’s degree program include:

  • Advanced Individual Differences
  • Multiculturalism, Bilingualism, and the Exceptional Learner
  • Foundations of Assessment in Special Education
  • Legal Foundations of Special Education

An initial teaching certificate is not required for admission.  Those who are certified teachers will receive additional special education certification credentials.
