The George Washington University

Program Details

The online BSHS in Medical Laboratory Science program is a bachelor completer program that allows students to transfer up to 60 credits of qualifying coursework and can be completed in as few as two years. This program is designed for both licensed MLTs and those aspiring to become board certified MLS professionals. GW MLS grads enjoy a 90% overall pass rate for the ASCP MLS and 100% of students who enter Phase II of this program graduate.

A 100% online option does not require lab work and is available for those who are MLT board certified. In contrast, a "blended" program option that requires both online coursework and in-person labs is available to students who reside near the GW Washington D.C. campus. Both programs prepare you to effectively utilize the latest molecular techniques to uncover the causes of disease and solve other complex diagnostic issues.
