Program Details

The online Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Breeding program takes students beyond the master’s degree in either plant breeding or a related agriculture field.  The curriculum includes a variety of course work in plant breeding, molecular and environmental plant sciences, statistics, plant pathology, entomology, agricultural economics, and education and human development.  Courses vary depending on the student’s career goals and situations.  Each student will complete a dissertation on original research.
