Program Details

Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi offers an online MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration for working professionals who want to advance in their careers.  The curriculum provides basic business knowledge with a strong background in healthcare administration.  Courses in Healthcare Administration include The Health Care System, Health Economics and Policy, Health Care Financial Management, and Health Law and Ethics.  Students will study the major components of the American healthcare system and related issues in Healthcare Administration along with principles of healthcare economics and their implications for public policy.  You will learn to understand the principles of healthcare economics and their implications for public policy while learning to take on managerial responsibilities by applying the basics of financial management and techniques used in healthcare.  Students will also focus on law and ethics within the healthcare sector.

Requirements

  • Regionally accredited bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Prerequisite courses, applicable for non-business undergraduate degree
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher in last 60 hours, 3.0 preferred
