As one of the three concentrations that offer licensure, the Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction / Secondary School Instruction develops competent and caring educators. All candidates must complete a semester of student teaching.

Other requirements of this online secondary education master’s degree include submitting the edTPA portfolio and meeting the minimum passing score of the State Department of Education. Furthermore, students must pass the comprehensive exams and any required Praxis subject area examinations.

The online secondary education coursework covers multicultural and advanced educational psychology. Other study topics include the following:
