Choose between two concentrations in this online special education degree:

  • Non-teacher
  • Educational diagnostician

The Non-teacher concentration covers the area of disability awareness, instructional strategies, formal and informal assessment, and law. Students are typically either certified teachers who are expanding their knowledge or those who work for a state agency.  

The Educational diagnostician concentration prepares graduates for master’s level professional careers within the public school system to ensure that students receive special education. The curriculum prepares students for certification as educational diagnosticians.
