Program Details
Focusing on the leader as a scholar-practitioner, this online doctorate in education leadership advances preparation in educational leadership. Complete a challenging curriculum that offers advanced knowledge and skills in leadership. Topics of study include:
- Leadership theory and practice
- Ethics and philosophy
- Leading change in education
Educational research is a key theme with the program culminating in a dissertation. Students also complete a leadership internship in a field-based setting.
There are two concentrations available. One is K-12, or for those interested in pursuing online higher education degrees there is a higher education concentration.
