Program Details
Southwest Adventist University provides the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion online. This program is designed for those interested in full-time ministry. Students will develop a deep biblical understanding, personal application, and service to the church through courses including but not limited to:
- Research in religion
- Prophetic studies
- History of Christianity
- Christian beliefs
Small class sizes allow for a student-centered approach to learning. Graduates may pursue positions as a Bible teacher in various educational institutions, a missionary, colporteur director, religious editor, or administrator. Other academic options include enrolling in Seminary or further vocational studies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2.5 GPA or higher for freshman; cumulative 2.0 GPA for transfer students
- Official transcripts
- SAT or ACT test scores, if applicable
