The art and science of money – making it, managing it and quantifying it – is at the heart of the online bachelor’s degree in finance. You’ll learn to analyze the fundamentals of investment vehicles, bonds to commodities. You’ll address the key issues modern corporate managers face, including capital budgeting, firm valuation and risk assessment. You’ll also examine ethics and the ever-evolving regulatory environment from every angle and explore opportunities for innovation, corporate social responsibility and sustainability. What’s more, you’ll graduate ready for entry- to mid-level finance positions in a wealth of industries, investment firms to start-ups, in a dynamic and interconnected business world.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Students can also pursue an accelerated BS-to-MS Pathway Option. Requirements for this option:
- Must be 22 years or older (exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis)
- Must have least 3 years or the equivalent work experience
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
- Cumulative 2.5 GPA or above
