Program Details
Southern Arkansas University offers a Master of Science in Kinesiology / Coaching degree. This program is designed for the educator pursuing the path of physical fitness coaching. The curriculum dives into areas of philosophy and ethics, as well as safety and skills. Students will also be able to develop their communication and critical thinking skills as well.
Requirements
- Official transcript from where you have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (4.0 scale) or a 2.75 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work
- GRE, GMAT, or MAT test scores (waived for applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher)
- CV and resume, including three references
- Acknowledgement of Program Requirements form
- Cooperating Agency / Mentor Approval form
- Background check, if applicable
