Southern Arkansas University offers a Master of Education degree in School Counseling. This program meets the licensure requirements for K-12 school counseling, although students should check their particular state requirements. Through this degree, students will gain a balance of theory and practice to guide them in counseling K-12 students in their academic journey.
- Official transcript from where you have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (4.0 scale) or a 2.75 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work
- GRE, GMAT, or MAT test scores (waived for applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher)
- Meet other requirements for admission to the school counseling program, if applicable
