Program Details

The online Post Graduate Certificate in Nurse Educator advances the careers of nursing professionals that already hold a master’s degree, by providing them with added credentials to become teachers and leaders. Students enrolled in the certificate program will gain competencies in teaching strategies, strategies for targeting learners, development of curriculum, and best practices for assessment and evaluation. In addition to required coursework, nurses will gain added experience through two practicums in nursing education and a graduate project. The Nurse Educator certificate requires 24 credit hours of completion.
