Master of Public Administration
South University offers an online Master of Public Administration degree designed for working adults who want to pursue opportunities within public or nonprofit sectors, including federal, state, and local agencies. Students develop broad knowledge of the public administration environment in regards to economics, political, legal, and social issues, and also develop decision-making skill sets needed by public managers and leaders.
Core courses range in topics from human resources, budgeting and accounting, and organizational behavior to coursework in legal and judicial processes, and relations between different levels of government. The final capstone course is a culmination of gained knowledge put to use in practical applications.
