Program Details

A Certificate in Ministry to Black Catholics is available online with Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.  This program is designed for adult learners pursuing educational and pastoral ministries centered in African-American communities.  Students will hone skills in intellectual engagement, leadership, and more through courses including:

• Catholic doctrine and theology
• Moral theology
• Pastoral leadership
• Intercultural Catholic church

This certificate can be used as a stepping stone towards a bachelor’s degree.  Students have the option of an accelerated summer session to move their education forward.  Enter society with the articulation and ethics to lead in service with Saint Joseph’s College.
