Program Details

The online AAS in Allied Health degree program from Rockford Career College is designed to provide students with up-to-date healthcare, ethics, and communication knowledge and skills needed to be well-rounded job candidates in the field. Students are prepared for a variety of entry-level medical job opportunities such as medical office administrative assistant or medical secretary by the completion of courses in:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Digital Learning Readiness Assessment
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Must have 52 quarter credit hours in an allied healthcare concentration or be a graduate of an allied-health related field program (i.e., Medical Assistant, Dental Assisting, Medical Office Administrative Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Massage Therapy, Veterinary Assistant, etc.)
  • Certificate/diploma or coursework must have been completed at an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and confirmed with official transcripts in English
  • Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher from the previous educational institution
