Program Details

Point University offers a faith-based online Bachelor of Social Work to the working adult student.  This degree is designed for those intending to pursue licensure in social work, with a research-based approach to all aspects of the field.  Along with an internship and practicum, lending to hands-on experiential learning, students will delve into topics including but not limited to:

• Ethics
• Counseling
• Statistics

Class sizes are small to accommodate a more individualized learning experience.  Through a career-focused curriculum, you are able to explore aspects of human development as well as the legal guidelines of social work.  These studies contribute to the development of effective assessment and management skills.  Graduates with this online BSW may go on to pursue a master of social work degree, or careers as social workers, entry-level work in mental health, case management, community organization, and more.
