Program Details
The online Associate of Arts in Child Development from Point University provides a foundation in early childhood development, education, and sociocultural contexts. The program prepares students to provide age-appropriate, Christ-centered care to young children through age 8.
Students learn how to work with children in a variety of settings, creating activities and environments that foster physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development. Coursework explores the needs of families from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Graduates are eligible to receive Early Education Teacher certification from the Association of Christian Schools International.
