Program Details

During the online Master of Science in Strength and Human Performance, students will study evidence-based research in physiology, human metabolism, and biomechanics to enhance physical performance. This program prepares students to pursue advanced graduate work in research. This program is also ideal for healthcare professionals to increase their understanding of exercise science.

Classes include, but are not limited to:

  • Advanced methods of strength and conditioning
  • Exercise prescription for special populations
  • Applied sport psychology

Students will study sports injuries, rehabilitation, cardiac rehab, and other health-related topics. Students may choose an internship concentration that requires 300 hours of work experience and other course assignments to be completed during the final semester. The online master’s degree program in strength and human performance prepares graduates to enter or advance in exercise science careers.
