The online Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management program provides students with the technical and administrative skills to mange health information systems consistent with the medical, ethical, and legal professional standards in health care delivery systems. The curriculum teaches students to collect, integrate, and analyze primary and secondary health care data; disseminate information; and mange information resources with courses in areas such as health data management, health statistics, information technology and systems, and organization management. Graduates have the knowledge and skills needed to plan and develop health information systems which meet standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies.
