Program Overview

Old Dominion University’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Information Systems & Technology program provides students with a knowledge of both cutting-edge technology as well as several aspects of business, such as accounting, quantitative methods, international business, economics, finance, management and marketing. Examples of careers in which students may apply their degrees include business application developer, business intelligence analyst, database analyst or administrator, internet/intranet developer, IT consultant/project manager/security analyst, network administrator or engineer, and web developer.

    Requirements

    ODU works in partnership with community colleges to allow students to complete the required 15 credits for entry into the fully online format. The Estimated Cost calculates the entire 120 credits based on ODU's tuition and fees for guideline purposes. Actual cost to complete 15 semester hours at a community college in partnership with the required 105 credits at ODU will vary depending on state of residency, and the community college in which you enroll.

    Students with 24 or more college credits can apply as a regular transfer student. A total of 120 credits are required, including transfer credits. Admissions requires all transcripts.

Then in 1962, Old Dominion became an independent institution; and later in 1969, Old Dominion gained university status.
