Program Details

This AS in General Studies is offered entirely online by NVCC.  You can choose to parallel your curriculum with that of an intended bachelor's degree or you can tailor a degree that fits your own needs if you're not planning to transfer.  However, you should make sure that your planned 4-year institution accepts transfer credits earned in this General Studies degree prior to enrolling, as there may be more feasible pathways for you to fulfill your Virginia state general education credits.  There is a Health Sciences specialization available within this associate's program.
