Program Details

Northcentral’s School of Social and Behavioral Sciences offers two tracks for students to earn an online MSW.  Both tracks follow curriculum guidelines of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).  This particular path requires an undergraduate degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.  NCU refers to this accelerated MSW curriculum as the Advanced Standing Track.  In this program, you’ll be challenged with advanced coursework and topics in social work, as you prepare to make a difference in your community and beyond.  Classes in the program usually include:

  • Research Methods in Social Work
  • Advanced Leadership Skills for Clinical Practice
  • Advanced Social Work with Children and Families
