Program Overview

New York University - School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) offers an online Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Management degree. The comprehensive degree program will prepare students for the dynamic and global business environment. The specialized curriculum should prepare students with the combination of general education courses that provide knowledge of literature, natural and social sciences, history and the arts in addition to the core business and management courses.

The curriculum places a strong emphasis on leadership development, cross-cultural communication, quantitative reasoning, and team-building skills. Students may utilize innovative online methods to study topics of employee motivation and empowerment, marketing and advertising and alternatives in managing resources.

Students have the option to choose a concentration within the Leadership and Management program to best suit personal and professional career goals. The concentrations include: Human Resources Management, International Business and Global Management, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Organizational Management and Development, or Sustainability Management and Development.

Graduates may use the bachelor's degree when entering the corporate world or advancing within it to higher levels of authority as managers and leaders. The expansive application of strategy, leadership and proper management is within many businesses such as financial services, insurance, marketing and advertising, media, healthcare, entertainment, tourism, higher education, the arts and philanthropy, and international organizations.

    Secretary of the Treasury for both Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, Albert Gallatin had a vision to establish an educational center in New York City.
