Program Details

Northeast College of Health Sciences offers the online MS in Applied Clinical Nutrition. This degree is built on the foundation of using whole-food nutrition as a primary means of reaching and maintaining optimal health and perfect form. Coursework covers macro-and micronutrients, nutritional assessment, the use of herbs, therapeutic nutrition, and the effects that human behaviors and drug-induced nutrition depletions may have on health and wellness.

Upon graduation, you will be equipped to design personalized prevention, treatment, and intervention programs incorporating diet, exercise, nutritional supplementation recommendations (e.g., vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and other nutritional products), and therapeutic and detoxification programs.

  • Applicants must have a professional degree (MSN, MD, DO, DC, DVM, or other similar advanced clinical degree) awarded by an accredited institution; OR a master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution; OR demonstrate significant anatomy and physiology teaching experience in the undergraduate college/ university setting; OR demonstrate current enrollment in an advanced clinical degree program after having completed the anatomy and physiology sequence of the program.
