Criminal justice professionals maintain societal order in the face of evolving laws, technological innovation and social circumstances that can lead to incivility and chaos. The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice program provides students with a comprehensive overview of the criminal justice system, including contemporary law enforcement practices, and the types and patterns of crime in the United States. Students will also examine investigative techniques and the impact of legal decisions on public safety policies.
The Concentration in Law Enforcement provides students with foundational knowledge in the principles of policing and the role of law enforcement professionals in maintaining public safety. Students will also understand the impact of changing laws and technological tools on intelligence gathering and investigative techniques.
