National University offers an online Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education, designed to meet the State of California Child Development Permit Matrix requirements, but does not confer a credential or licensure. The degree offers a sequence of courses specializing in early childhood teaching for children from birth to age 8.

- Overall GPA of 2.5 or better, or GPA of 2.75 or higher in the last 90 quarter units (Applicants not meeting GPA may submit satisfactory score from GRE, GMAT, MAT or approved exam.)
