Program Details

The online Doctor of Education in Administrative Leadership program is designed for P-12 educators, providing opportunities for them to be in rigorous leadership training while conducting research designed to bring about improved student achievement in their schools.  Job opportunities for graduates include principal, Director of Pupil Personnel, instructional supervisor, and superintendent.  Courses include:

  • Strategic Planning in Education
  • Practicum in District Administration/Supervisor

  • Documentation of a master's degree from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accreditation body
  • Resume or vita documenting years of related professional/leadership or educational technology, instructional design and training experience
  • Letter of introduction/interest stating professional goals, leadership style, and educational philosophy
  • Recommendation letters
  • GRE, Miller Analogies Test (MAT), or GMAT scores
