Program Details

The online Certificate in Paralegal program prepares students to assist attorneys and perform legal work under the attorneys’ supervision.  The curriculum provides the knowledge and skills needed for these careers, including the ethical rules for the legal community, legal research, basic legal writing skills, how to interpret legal documents and case law, and how to prepare cases for trial.  You will gain on overview of law from core courses and also be prepared for careers as title examiners, trust officers, contract clerks, legal investigators, or law firm administrators.

Requirements

  • Placement test
    • May be waived based on ACT/SAT scores, high school GPA, or college transcript
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
