Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication gives students the chance to pursue careers in which technical writing and editing is a major part.  The certificate prepares students be professional technical communicators, information developers, and editors with skills in written and spoken word and the ability to reach a wide range of audiences.  

Careers can potentially include but are not limited to those in the computer industry, grant writing, government and corporate publishing, and publication information.  Other careers include those in independent consulting, government and business writing, and technical and scientific writing and editing.

Requirements

An undergraduate B.A. or B.S. degree. Technical Communication (Eng 271), Business Communication (Eng 272), or equivalent technical communication experience.
